Located on the quiet, scenic coastal road we are just minutes from state Highway 1 and just 35kms or 30 mins drive north of Dunedin. A world away from the hustle of city life, The Longhouse is the perfect excuse to escape to the coast. Enjoy our stunning sunrises and vivid seascapes while staying at a truly iconic property.
Whether you choose us for a short restorative stay, a special event or simply want the entire property for you and your crew - we are committed to making your stay with us memorable.
We are able to customise your stay with a bespoke itinerary whilst staying at the Longhouse. This may include day trips to Dunedin and surrounding environs, local fishing charters, kayaking trips, guided trips with our local Marae; surfing lessons or any wellness treatments available at the Longhouse.
The Longhouse is also available for event hire be it a Corporate Off-site; a Wellness Retreat or your Wedding Day - please feel free to contact us to discuss your special plans.

Pukerati Longhouse was built in the 1920's as a wellness retreat for shellshocked soldiers returning from WW1.
